100% Organic.
Truly Natural.
Genuinely Maine.

Our Story

In 2007, we quit our jobs to look for a piece of land where we could explore sustainable, small-scale agriculture. After a 7,000-mile snow-covered journey through eastern Canada and the US, we landed in Jackson, Waldo County, Maine.
Dharma means "the teachings of the Buddha." Our farm name reflects the parallels between these teachings and those of the earth: All things are interconnected. Working the land provides daily tangible evidence of this.
We are USDA-certified organic through the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA). We rely on farm-made compost, cover cropping, mulching, and tarping to improve soil health and reduce tillage. We are off-grid, running the farm with our own solar power.
Our is farm nestled within 181 acres of Maine hills and woods, 20 miles northwest of the beautiful and vibrant coastal town of Belfast and 25 miles west of Bangor, Maine's largest northern city and, of course, home to Stephen King!
We hope you enjoy our garlic and wine as much as we do (which is a lot!!!).
