French Red (Artichoke)

French Red seed garlic. Excellent flavor. Beautiful unique bulbs. One of only two softneck varieties we have successfully grown out in mid-Coast Maine (the other is Japanese). Only partially bolting (umbel is low in the stalk similar to Asiatic varieties), scape removal not required. Ready to harvest two weeks earlier than hardneck varieties. Keeps extremely well.
