Japanese (Sakura) (Asiatic)

Japanese (Sakura) seed garlic. Delightful spicy, plump bulbs. One of only two softneck varieties we have successfully grown out in mid-Coast Maine (the other is French Red). Unique umbel capsule (the equivalent of a scape and bulbil on a hardneck variety) that grows mid-way up the stalk, and does not need to be removed for the bulb to be reasonably large. Ready to harvest two weeks earlier than hardneck varieties.
